Review: Nars Orgasm Blush

Nars Orgasm Blush, blusher, pink, coral, shimmer, highlight

Another hyped product I couldn't resist picking up for myself; Nars Orgasm Blush.

At first look, I couldn't really identify exactly why this blusher has received so much attention; it seems quite subtle and there was nothing particularly unique about it.

The casing was certainly very nice however; velvet matte black with a decent sized mirror inside. This blusher is quite large compared to many and I don't think I'll reach the bottom of the pan any time soon.

When applied, the colour is a natural pink flush with some gold shimmer highlights. As suspected the colour is fairly subtle but very build-able, making it easy to get just the right amount of colour you need. You certainly don't need to worry about it starting out too intense so it's perfect for paler skin, although I'm not sure how well it would fair on darker tones.

It was only when I wore it for a full day did I really see the full benefit of this blusher. It stayed really well and had barely faded by the evening. I naturally assumed that the subtlety of this blush would directly relate to it's staying power but I'm very pleased to say I was wrong. This blush is definitely long-lasting and superior to most other blushers I own.

Nars Orgasm Blush is on the pricier end at £21.50 however the build-able colour, large pan and staying power make it one of the worthiest blushers I've ever bought.

Have you tried this cult product? What did you think? Are there any other blush shades by Nars that you love?
