Review: Mavala Oil Seal Dryer

This product from Mavala really appealed to me, an oil seal you apply after your top coat of nail polish that's supposed to instantly dry your nails and also provide nourishment for dry cuticles. The ingredient include cotton oil to smooth and soften, whilst vitamin E helps to protect your nails.

I lightly brushed this oil on to one of my hands about a minute after applying my final top coat from Seche Vite, leaving the other hand without so I could compare results. Less than 30 seconds later I pressed a finger against a nail on both hands. I was really impressed with the results. I actually pressed quite firmly on the nail with the Mavala Oil Seal on but it wouldn't budge and no fingerprint mark was left. The hand without the oil however was far less successful and the nail varnish immediately dragged down the nail.

I don't usually apply any products to my cuticles, so I don't have much to compare it to, but it does seem to be a moisturising cuticle oil and, if nothing else, it made it much easier to peel off any nail varnish that I accidentally got around my cuticles!

The oil is available from FeelUnique for just over £10 currently. Overall I was very impressed with this Mavala Oil Seal Dryer and I'll definitely be using it for all my manicures from here on. It looks like it's going to last me a long time, only needing a tiny amount of oil each time.
